Trust and Assurance

GoldEx Knysna offers our personal trust and assurance to each of our customers and the community as a whole, that we will never buy or trade in what we may suspect to be stolen merchandise. Part of our Terms and Conditions of Purchase state that we will only buy from people who we are sure are the rightful owners of the goods on offer. No goods will be purchased on behalf of somebody else without their confirmed approval and only in exceptional situations where the owner cannot be present.

We pride ourselves as being totally compliant with procedures governing the Second Hand Goods Act N˚.6 of 2009, a copy of our current certificate is displayed in the premises together with our Terms and Conditions of Purchase.

We also have a good working relationship with the South African Police Service (Knysna) who keeps us up-to-date with pictures and descriptions of stolen jewellery which we will look out for. Further to that, we keep records of customers who have unfortunately experienced loss, either through theft or misplacement of their jewellery, with the intention of retrieving it to them should it be brought in to us.
